Thanks for your help Derek, I've just read your Buyers Guide and I've also phoned Jomashop.com to ask them some questions. Jomashop.com confirm that they are NOT an authorized dealer, so I guess that explains the 40% discount on their watches. However, the guy on the phone assured me that all of the Omega watches have their serial numbers intact, and that they are also covered by the MANUFACTURER'S guarantee. I double checked this with him as I thought that the warranty from a non-authorized dealer would only be backed up by the retailer, but no, he assured me that in the US (by law), all new watches sold have to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, in this case Omega. If what he says is true, Jomashop.com seems to sell at lower prices than Ashford, and also provides the manufacturer's warranty. Does this seem plausible to you? Thanks for any comment. Cheers,
