Re: Anyone own the Omega Designs book???

: As some of you know, I've been working on my
: Omega movement reference page. I've been
: debating getting this book to help me out,
: but I'm wondering if it's worth the money.

I've got it. For coverage of the various movements older, it is worthwhile--though it mainly gives technical details of the movements and does not cover what watches used them.

Otherwise, it is likely NOT worth the money for those who want info on the watches. That portion is very uneven, poorly written and organized--though it does have some interesting photos.

Best way to buy it is to use www.bestbookbuys.com to not only shop for a best price, but also to alert you which bookstores are offering $ off coupons
