Same case used for both...

Both are exact same outside as Omega uses the same case for both the auto and quartz versions of most of their watches. The only differences are on the inside and the designations on the dial.

There are some Omega models where the automatic version might be slightly thicker--such as the Seamaster GMT is a little thicker than the standard auto or quartz SMP.

But there are two sizes of the Seamaster Professional--a full (gents) size and a smaller mid-size. But the size difference has nothing to do with the movement inside. Omega simply offers a choice of a second size to appeal to different people.
