Congratulations on your new watch!

The concern here, Larry, is that the chemical nature of WD-40 can hurt the rubber water-resistant seals of the watch. You should avoid the use of anything chemical, soapy, or oils on your watch.

Also, I find it interesting when I occasionally hear of people thinking the SMP bezel is hard to turn. On my previous main watch, the bezel was too easily bumped out of position. Since I never rotate the bezel, I am happy that it is stiff enough to stay in position.
