Re: I like the blue...............
In Response To: I like the blue............... ()

I agree 100%. While I appreciate all the SMP models to different degrees, my heart is still with my 007. I think the 9-link bracelet is far more interesting and sophisticated then the new 5-link.

But Derek, you're usually the voice of calm and reason, so I was surprised by 'If I see another man's black onyx ring, I'm gonna barf.' Must have had a rough day.

: The black version is quite attractive and
: compelling--I always like it whem I see one.

: BUT I still prefer the blue because in both
: style and color, it is a much more unique
: and distinctive design. In fact it is the
: sophisticated SUBTLETY of the Bond that I
: prefer over the bolder look of the new black
: design.

: I get tired of mens jewelry being mostly
: limited to yellow gold, white metals (wg,
: plat, steel, silver), VERY BASIC colors like
: black, and most watches looking similar to
: common Rolex models. If I see another man's
: black onyx ring, I'm gonna barf.

: So I love the blue Bond SMP design. It has a
: wonderful mix of the classic, conservative
: styling, yet with a delicate flair of the
: more unusual--such as the skeleton hands,
: navy blue bezel and dial, 9-segment
: bracelet, and greater flair of using brushed
: and polished finishes.
