Hi all:
I have been reading a lot of positive comments about ashford.com in this forum for purchasing SMP. Watches-etc claim they are authorized dealers of Omega and other fine watches. They don't post prices on their website but when I talk with them on the phone, they offer ~30% off MSRP on the SMPs. Seems like a secure place to buy from?
Anyway, after owning an Omega Geneve Dynamic that is given to me by my father for about 15 years, I think it is time to pick out and purchase my own. I really like the SMP America's Cup and perhaps the newest model (245580) with gold/steel combo and blue dial although it seems a bit showy. Anyone owns one of these watches. Thanks for any feedback that you can give me.

P.S. How much do you think my Geneve Dynamic still worth? I think Omega started making them in the late sixties and mine is still in reasonably good shape after being in service for at least 25 years. I don't plan on selling it, just curious
