My Wife's Vintage Omega Crisis

Greetings,

My wife Katherine, a lady who prefers to drive a four-speed manual rather than an automatic, much prefers an automatic watch to a quartz. Her absolute favorite is her '60's oval case ladies Omega Geneve Dynamic on the original SS bracelet. We had it serviced a couple of years ago soon after we bought it, and it runs like a charm, and was her daily wearer. And then the trouble began: One of the spring bars that attaches the bracelet to the case came out. A local jeweler replaced it, but it popped loose again. The case is quite worn where the spring bar expanding pins fit. The jeweler offered to drill through the case (a la earlier Rolex), but we politely declined. To keep the watch original, it probably needs sleeves inserted into the worn area to hold the spring bar pins. Any other remedies? Any recommendations as to who could do a good repair?
Thanks for your help, John
