If you mean is it going to resell for more. Probably but not as many takers.
Will it be a better made watch..same.
Is the white gold bezel more expensive.yes.
Is this model going to hold its exclusivity factor as a limited edition and become perhaps 'rarer' than the Bond. I think so.
Will it be as popular and appeal to as broad a market come resale or recognition? Prob not.
Will it keep better time.....nope

It is a beautiful edition and appeals to some as 'the one' they want to drop the cash for. The gold bezel is stunning. I think it is either THE ONE for you and you know it or probably you would be happier the colored bezel models that attracted you to the watch in the first place. You would alway wonder unless you could buy both. That is how it worked for me. The black SMP really spoke to me as the classic heritage of the SM300, the Submariners, GMTs. I was torn btw the GMT and the black but the black was the first (safer)choice. I may someday still get a SMGMT or a red/blue GMT Master which started me watch crazy decades ago. The blue Bond was quickly eliminated for me once I wandered into military watch legacy. I collect old tube stereos, guitars, cars, speakers, antiques. I liked the big number bezel, big V markers, sword hands and the look with the black rubber strap. Killer setup and a classic forever..no question.
