I'd be scared also- you just hear too much about cons on the bay. My two cents is to keep in mind that feedback can be easily contrived. Perhaps go to the Rolex forum on Time Zone (http://www.timezone.com/index.html) and ask if anyone has dealt with him, and then try posting on "Good guys" and "crummy deals" here:

That's Watchnet- they have a good running dialogue of good experiences as well as bad, and in both forums you'll find some real Rolex pros (beware- some of whom can be abrasive snobbish asses who can turn you off of this brand.)
