You ain't alone, Bro! Yes, most quality jewelers who have a watch "maker" (AKA watch repair technician) can do this for a very nominal fee (the last quote I heard was in Richmond Va for $20). They use a UV glue that disappears completely when it dries. Someone (maybe many someones) are going to respond to your post, telling you how you're "bastardizing" your watch! If it's what you need, do it. In the final analysis, a watch is just a tool; do what you need to to make the tool useful to you!

They also will tell you that you will never be able to sell the watch, because it isn't in "original" condition. As Johnny Carson as John Q. Public used to say "Bull Wash!" The cyclops can be taken off by that same jeweler for just about the same $$$ without anyone being any the wiser.

I LOVE WATCHES, but they are just tools (albeit beautiful, elegant tools)! Enjoy!
