Thanks for the feedback. I purchased the watch from an authorized dealer in Toronto just yesterday. It's not jumping in 4 sec. increments however so I didn't think it was the battery, but maybe because the battery is close to the end of it's life it's starting to act a little strange. It almost seems that the second hand is a little loose. As it moves from second to second it almost seems that it goes just a fraction of a millimeter ahead and settles back - not on every second, maybe 5-6 out of 60. I actually saw this on several other new SMPs at another store - but not all of them. I'm actually surprised that no one else has brought this up. Thanks for the advice!
