Question about the "Super light" indexes

HI!!!
I�m the lucky owner of an Omega Seamaster Professional 2531.80 since yesterday!!Im so happy!!!
But heres my question:Ive heard about this "tritium light mass" which is radioaktive and glows after a time no more so intensive as after the purchase.(after 2 years or so...)
Have I tritium or the new "super light" indexes,when i bought the Omega in 2001?
Glow the "Super light" mass exactly so intensive as a few years after the purchase?
Is this bad when I hold it up to a light to make it glow?(Its funny but I dont want to affect the lifespan!)
