Sorry to hear,

I have never heard of an SMP having its crystal broken, but doesn't mean it can't happen. I am extremely rough on my watches as I wear them while playing sports, i.e. Tennis, surfing, golf, karting, drag racing etc. and I have banged my SMP way too many times during its young 1 1/2 months on my wrist. The worst accident occured while I was bicycling on a trail and I took a huge wipe out. I ended up scraping my knees my elbows and forearm pretty badly (I landed on my side). What hurt the most was that I thought my SMP was finished. Prior to my "take off" from the seat of the bike, I had lost control trying to take a sharp right corner in the mud and the watch was banged really hard against the trunk of a tree. During my landing, I was mangled with my bike. I emerged with no scratches on the crystal, case or bezel but a few scuffs on the bracelet. So I was happy that no damage had been inflicted on my watch during that ordeal.
