: Hello, i would like to add my 2 cents on this.
: i Bought recently from watchmaxx.com a
: Speedmaster Racing Schumacher limited
: edition (2002 championship version) for only
: 1800 brand new in box. This site sells
That's fine. But based on your numbers, your price was only 30% off retail. There are ways to get an OMEGA watch from an AUTHORIZED dealer for at least that much off. So you gained nothing and lost the factory warranty by going through that cut-rate dealer.
: pictograms card. Now the only thing i didnt
: receive in the box was the international
: warranty red card that has the serial number
: and the stamp of an autorized dealer. I
: asked them to send it to me unstamped and
: they told me they will send it to me next
: week. (because after the 2 years warranty
: period thru them pass) ill need this card to
: fix it at an omega dealer.
You are completely incorrect about that. You do NOT need that card to have OMEGA repair your watch at your own expense. A warranty card is needed ONLY if you expect OMEGA to pay for a repair under the terms of the factory warranty... and for that to happen, the card must be properly filled out by an authorized dealer. Otherwise, that card is totally useless.
