Why wouldn't they be able to?
The Calibre 11/12 is 31mm in diameter. And we know both of those fit perfectly fine in a 36mm case. And it could find its way into a smaller case, should someone want to.
The 02 movement, as far as I know, is only 1 millimeter bigger in diameter.
