They really are an interesting pair to compare. As you've noted, the Heuer's dial is a bit cleaner and more legible, though I had a hard time putting my finger on exactly why. I guess it's a couple of little things. The markers are a bit wider, but I think the biggest factor is the hands. The red-orange chrono hands visually seperate them from the time keeping hands.
