My last physics class was in 1972-1973 (senior year of high school), and I know even less about the physics of outer space.

I enjoyed the video, and it does seem intuitive that -- all else being equal -- gravity would help to turn the rotor. I realize that gravity also affects friction within the movement (adversely affecting rotation of the rotor), but it seems that the net effect of gravity would be favorable.

And, yes, this is always a friendly forum ! ! !
