Hey Jeff, thanks you for the idea. Yes I kind of like the Patina it has developed, would polishing the crystal bring it back to new or would I need to get a new one. I have no clue where to get a crystal for this watch, is a NOS crystal hard to find? Thats why I'm thinking polishing may be the solution, if it can get all the scratches out.
:
: I am guessing that replacing the crystal will
: make a world of difference, in the look of
: this watch. I would start there, leaving the
: hands and dial untouched.
: If it still looks dirty and bothers you, after
: you have replaced the crystal, then maybe
: you would re-lume the hands.
: This one shows some honest age, and I imagine
: that I would be happy to display that age
: under a fresh new crystal!
: Jeff
