Ebay seems to dedicate a lot of attention to the concept of "Buyer Protection"; indeed, this is the phrase that makes the buyers happy to send their money to strangers, hoping to receive their goods. The simple question is as follows: How can Ebay provide the so-called "Buyer Protection", without putting the Seller at risk?? I believe that much of the "Buyer Protection" is an illusion / smoke and mirrors, but I would imagine to any provisions for genuine "buyer protection" will leave sellers at risk. It is difficult to combine real buyer protection with real seller protection . . . one party or the other will usually be at risk.

for me these ebay chnages are the end for this system. they have big problems in generating more money. these are the final measuress to suck sellers out. so after skype beeing a big flop more and more I conclude to not go via this system to sell.
