Hi Paul
Annoyingly I the old case back was worn in that area so I could only just make out the 8 and nothing more! The previous owener must have had abrasive wrists or something ;-). A clumsey watch repairer had damaged the thread on the cover hence me replacing it with one I sourced from a 980.006 that had seen better days.
Out of interest what make you believe it has dial work and relume - looks original to me base on other pictures I've seen on the web etc etc. Your eye is obviously sharper than mine so would like know what the tell tale signs are!
