I bought a Tag Heueur 2000 quartz chrono for just £50 (yep!) - needs a new part which is going to cost about £20....its about 20+ years old and is worn but hey- bargain and a fantastic "beater" for everyday use...I have a Monaco but needless to say this is not for the rough and tumble of everyday life:)...trawl the "bay" you can get bagains...TH Formula 1's are the way to go (first issue) and in fair to good condition dont lose money - all for around £100 - £150 - bought my partner a bright orange mid-size will ALL of the boxes for £140 in ace condition. A bargain as could sell it for more right now I suspect.
: I obviously can't take my old Heuers near water and want some ideas
: of a good sports divers watch to get. One that I can take
: swimming, to the gym, cycling, bathtime with my son etc... I
: don't want to spend a massive amount ( I'd rather put the money
: towards another Monaco ) but want something decent. I've thought
: of the usual suspects; Seiko etc. Any ideas please chaps??? What
: does everyone else have as a 'knockabout' watch?
: Thanks
