This watch is the reason i started desiring Heuers. As of yet, I do not have a "Heuer" though am in the hunt.
Not sure if the 2447 is in my budget at present, but as I gain knowledge, I know it will. One day.
In the mean time, I seem to be attracted to collecting Speedies plus a few others.
Not sure if I was ever a collector. Not like a lot of the people here. I never stayed in one place all that long, having lived and worked around Australia, and a fair share of foreign countries. Now life has taken a nice, secure and rewarding change, and I find this to be the ideal obsession, I mean hobby..
I love my watches. Only started around 9 months ago with a Tag, and now have about a dozen or varying makes. Some to wear, some to pull apart, and some to put away. My Grail, a Heuer, and then a 2447.
This site is my Heuer reference, and I am nearly a daily visitor.
Why watches? They are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and there is just so much to keep my mind interested, in so many ways.
I'm looking for a Heuer start. Email me, before I buy another Speedmaster.
