Are there any experienced traders out there who can give me a dummies guide to buying on the forum.

I'm new to the whole vintage watch scene and would really appreciate some pointers on buying/selling and how to protect myself from scams.

I guess a lot of it should be common sense, but what I'd really like to know is what the most common forms of payment is aswell as shipping internationally. Are there any important questions I should be asking to make sure I'm dealing with a serious seller.
