But seems the auction went roughly how i thought, the rare ones were the focus, PVD...well what can you say!
Thought Sifferts would attract that focus but amazed and pleased at the response to the Silverstones ;-) £9k :-)
Last night was a blast, the drink and chat was brilliant fun, even a £110 cab ride home didn't wipe the smile from my face!
Well done to Arno, Paul et al, superb all round, although i have no idea what it means for the Heuer world, short, medium or long term. I do know Arno must be one happy Austrian dude right now!
I'm off to photograph and release a Chronomatic, PVD monaco, Silverstone and Siffert book and to book Bonhams for December 2011! ;-)
