Agreed Jeff and I came to discuss watches, however some decorum is lacking and I for one will think twice about posting here again.
The watch was polished but all edges are still distinctive and the radiating satin lines can still be seen.
So to say based on the picture that the watch was heavily over polished was an unnecessary stretch.
I have owned hundreds of watches in the past 20 years yet do not badmouth other people's watches.
I think it was necessary to point this out to the offender so he can choose his words more carefully in the future.
With this I am done.
: Guys:
: I have skimmed this thread quickly, but I have not read it in
: detail, to try to figure out what went wrong and what went
: right, the good guys / bad guys / etc. Playing copd and referee
: is not what I like to do.
: But let me suggest that we back to discussing the watches, rather
: than discussing the people, their motives, the nuances of
: language and psychology, etc.
: The Heuers are great right now, and activity on this forum and
: OnTheDash are on a huge roll!! We have all been getting along
: well, and it's been a long time since the last big "flame
: war". So let's get back to the Heuers!!
: Jeff
