Hi Stewart, nice and though question!
I own the re-edition from the '90's and I do find it's such a balanced watch...
I reckon you should relax some of the features if you don't want to end up being suggested a Rolex Daytona.
So what can you do without:
- manual wind
- lack of date ( here definitely less is more for me)
- non-integrated lugs
- exposed pusher stems
Pls. Advise.
I personally love this combination so much I couldn't change anything, but I see the size issue many have.
