Agree roughly with you.
But for me there is a huge difference between a refinished dial where the dial does not match the orginal (different number rings, different fonts, etc) and one where the refinisher has managed to duplicate the original. But then I guess if it is perfect how do you know it is refinished?
This watch I bought is a good example. My feeling is the dial is refinished but there is nothing blatantly obvious (maybe a small smudge on the 6), and it exactly matches the dial shown in the catalog on OtD. But I bought it, ready to pay 0.75x as even if it is refinished because it is authentically done.
What do people think?
