Just playing Devil's advocate here, are we upset because we missed out on the bargain of the century due to a seller's ignorance?
I actually feel sorry for the guy. Might have been nice for a member to contact him and tell him the real value of the watch.
A couple of years ago, someone naively sold an IWC Mark XI on eBay UK for £100. The military watch forums were alight with what a killing someone made on the deal.
I contacted the seller and told him his watch was actually worth around £3000. Don't know if he was able to cancel the deal but at least I thought I'd done the right thing.
