I don't know why they even kept the TAG

But as they have, your proposal makes perfect sense.

Let one camp define "sporty" as oversized, skeletal and "modern" and the other as legibility and classic.

I mean it's quite clear in which camp most of us will fall, but that would allow all lines to continue.

I'd like to see the Carrera name phased out in any such "TAG" line, but doubt that would happen now.
