general subject/project. little did i realize you were the buyer. i agree very unfortunate, indeed. we probably have very similar views on refinished dials, as i dislike them(i'm assuming you do also?). i'd much rather have a beaten and tarnished original, then a refinish anyday.

sorry you got stung. hopefully there is a silver lining in this dark cloud, as maybe we all can learn a thing or two on how to spot redials. the gallery is a great idea! maybe including some basic refinish techniques? one more question, should they be only heuers/poor man's heuers or will any vintage refinished timepiece do?
