Hi Marius

I also recentlly had an issue with a Skipererra bought through ebay where i paid via paypal straight away but the seller refused to accept it & refunded the money as he didnt want to be paid by paypal (even though his listing said he accepted it).

I complained firstly to him & ultimately to Ebay but I am afraid that despite me being a a priority customer (due to the No of watches I have bought) & having access to special help desks etc they were frankly a waste of space. They went through the motions but put up so many technical hurdles it was impossible to satisfy the changing requirements from Ebay about what proof they wanted. They wanted copies of emails from the seller which I attached to them, but apparantly they were not attached in the correct technical way so they wouldnt accept them. I told them to look at the email messages on my account as the seller had replied to me through that as well, but they wouldnt look at those either.

They make it so hard for you to complain that in the end I just gave up - I didnt lose any money but I didnt get the watch I had won fairly.

On a happier note Nic Green @ Heuerboy was able to sell me one, though it did cost me a bit more than my bid at least I had the comfort of geting it from a trusted seller & frankly I would rather he had my money than the original idiot (who was a dealer in Germany).

Good luck with your efforts & let us know if you get anywhere with Ebay.

John L
