Re: Normal?
In Response To: Re: Normal? ()

Hi folks, thanks for your support and help on this.

The latest update on the matter:

"thebalticman" finally decided to dignify me with an answer,he is still refusing to ship the watch, and now also claims ebay has adviced him to relist it,even though I`ve declined his offer to cancel the transaction! I am still the winner of this auction,I believe?

Is this at all possible? What about the "blah-blah,you are entering a binding contract,blah-blah" line you get whenever you list or bid on the bay?

I have also filed a Non-performing seller case against him, after first giving him 24 hrs to rectify the situation, but judging from your collective experience in similar cases, this will probably lead nowhere..

In my opinion, sellers like these deserve more than just negative feedback..

Thanks for letting me vent!

Cheers

Marius

: Hi Marius

: I also recentlly had an issue with a Skipererra bought through ebay
: where i paid via paypal straight away but the seller refused to
: accept it & refunded the money as he didnt want to be paid
: by paypal (even though his listing said he accepted it).

: I complained firstly to him & ultimately to Ebay but I am
: afraid that despite me being a a priority customer (due to the
: No of watches I have bought) & having access to special help
: desks etc they were frankly a waste of space. They went through
: the motions but put up so many technical hurdles it was
: impossible to satisfy the changing requirements from Ebay about
: what proof they wanted. They wanted copies of emails from the
: seller which I attached to them, but apparantly they were not
: attached in the correct technical way so they wouldnt accept
: them. I told them to look at the email messages on my account as
: the seller had replied to me through that as well, but they
: wouldnt look at those either.

: They make it so hard for you to complain that in the end I just
: gave up - I didnt lose any money but I didnt get the watch I had
: won fairly.

: On a happier note Nic Green @ Heuerboy was able to sell me one,
: though it did cost me a bit more than my bid at least I had the
: comfort of geting it from a trusted seller & frankly I would
: rather he had my money than the original idiot (who was a dealer
: in Germany).

: Good luck with your efforts & let us know if you get anywhere
: with Ebay.
