Re: My poor man's Carrera
In Response To: Re: My poor man's Carrera ()

Hello Mark!

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer!

Here's a picture of the movement (from the seller; can't open the watch myself as I don't have the tools):

The movement is a Hamilton 644, based on Valjoux 7732 (that's the seller's words).
It would be great if it's from 1969, as that is my year of birth!

Just found that somebody posted a picture of a Carrera style Hamilton a few years ago, but the link to the picture is no longer active.

They were thinking whether it was a 7732 or 7734. So if my seller is right, mine is based on the 7732.

Ok, pictures of my genuine Heuers will follow in the future. Just to give you an idea what will be presented: Two nice Autavias: a Derek Bull 1163 and a 73463 (Siffert Style), the latter is just at Jasper's, waiting for a full revison and replacement of several parts. Well, if I have enough pennies left ...
