The seller sent photos to Jeff and I last August, so I don't think it's just a case of a tall story to sell a watch on eBay. Poor watch has been messed around no end and the dial is worthless to me, and I imagine most collectors, as it stands dddmmm8. I was hoping it was a sign that there were indeed silver Chronomatic Carreras as hinted at by some of the sales literature, but the dial was originally blue apparently.

Let this be another horror story to anyone considering going down the redial route on a watch.
