Another 1st Exec : 225xxx - orange chrono, red subdial hands
In Response To: Let's talk 1163 GMT ()

Looked thru my GMT records, will try find photo later..
I had a 225xxx GMT:
- cal 11
- 1st exec style dial (no red hash marks on subdial)
- 12345..2324 odd & even style bezel
- chocolate dial
- early style polished metal hands
- arrow style 24H hand, heavily faded
- orange chrono hand, heavily faded
- red subdial hands
- heavily crazed crystal, looks original
- unpolished.

I think there are too many orange chrono / red subdial GMTs around to be just random service replacements. Especially as often the hands are very faded - as in my example. I think it was something that came out the production line at Heuer. My watch looks remarkably like Abel's in terms of the dial and hands and patina; albeit a 225xxx serial rather than 243xxx.
