What a transformation
In Response To: Fresh pvd Carrera w/questions ()

What can I say.. superb job Eddie.

The serial no's for these Carreras was on the end of the case (just above where the strap fits), so was prone to been worn (or polished) away.
I think the standard buckle looks much better, and as Mark says, suits it with the stainless pushers/crown.
I'd get the hands relumed asap, you don't want any more flacking off and getting into the date window. James (who commented below) can do a superb job, but he is in the UK.

Finally - the PVD job.. as I understand it, the metal needs blasting prior to coating to get a matt PVD finish. I know you do your own blasting - I wondered if you could share who did the PVDing, as I have a Heuer that could do with a new coat of PVD. I wonder if you could assist in my restoration?

Cheers
Stewart
