Thanks for posting this link; I knew that we had discussed this, but forgot to search for the message.

Interesting to speculate about how this one might have fared with the "Carrera" on the dial . . . some of the 5100-powered Heuers seem to be under-appreciated, but the 18 KG Carreras seem to have a strong following. Same basic case; replace the Cal 12 with the Lemania 5100; improved legibility of the center chronograph minutes hand . . . and what do we end up with? White elephant or rarest of the rare?
