Bland would be my choice of term, but I completely agree. It's like no thought went into the dial design, ie just grabbed a gold dial and used the same dye they had for the other 5100s. A little care and attention, some detailing and it could have been a winner. Compared to the 'F1' cal 12 gold Carrera, this is nowhere near as stunning. It's a little bit 'Elizabeth Duke'.(uk readers will know what I mean)
