Re: F1's Jim Clark (mid 1960's) - name the watch

I wrote a piece on this watch that was re-posted on Hodinkee a while back:
http://www.automobiliac.com/automobiliac/2012/6/25/jim-clark-and-his-breitling-top-time.html

I think it's a way undervalued collectible, contrasted with all this over-wrought obsession about "derek bells" and "sifferts" and "mcqueens". Clark was head and shoulders above all of them. His watch should have at least that amount of respect, no? Just shows, to me, that collectors are more swayed by marketing than they think they are. If Breitling re-issued the Top Time with Jim Clark photos, people would be all hot and bothered about them. As it is, they are not terribly sought after. And they are just as cool as an early Carrera, in my opinion. Though I do prefer the lug design of the carrera case.

: It's a Breitling Top Time - I have read about this before and post
: where I found this. Great watch!
