I actually owned the Clark Gallet before I moved it on to the current owner. Doing some research while I had it I discovered that Clark was a real watch guy and owned a variety of different timepieces. He was evidently very generous in giving them to friends and relatives since most he received as gifts. Gallet contacted me some years ago and wanted to include the story and pictures in their history but I had already sold the piece by then but I was able to put them in contact with the current owner. It was a neat watch with a documented history and, in hindsight, that's one I should have probably kept.
