A barrel style cased Carrera never seen before *PIC*

I was able to purchase this barrel style Carrera with a pewter grey PVD finish on the case:

My first idea: This must be a re-PVD of a damaged black case.

However, the surface looks fairly worn. Furthermore a black lizard strap is fitted with a folding clasp of the same finish, Heuer signed:

Reference or serial numbers are not visible.

I would like to start a discussion about this particular watch. Did you ever see a similar one? In flesh? In a catalogue? Do you know this bracelet or clasp on a Heuer?

Oops, yes, there is an hour hand :-)

Cheers,

Mick
