I am wearing this 5513 pre comex today.
Not a big Rolex fan, but everybody will agree on the fact that these little Submariners a great watches.
Big advantage, the more you scratch them, the more your dial and insert got bleached by the
combination of sun and sea, the more valuable they get. Just look at the price of the old and completely ruined 5512's.
Crazy but good to now. So I am wearing my 5513 everywhere, on the beach, on my bicycle, in the mountains,...
My insert is making me money just by abusing it, great feeling!
Unfortunately this is not the case with our beloved Heuer watches. Does anyone here wears his Monaco or Autavia Siffert
at the beach? I think not. Correct me if I am wrong.
So this is a strange difference between the two brands. Heuers got to be perfect, Rolexes not at all.
