How do you feel about linking to Fake's?

: ongoing auctions or any items available
: for sale elsewhere ought to be allowed on
: this forum. Does NO GOOD for anyone, except
: the sellers of course, who can and will end
: up using the forum for drawing attention to
: their items. I'm not opposed to people
: posting photos from ongoing auctions if they
: have a technical question or such, as long
: as they don't provide a link or otherwise
: indicate the location of the item offered
: for sale.

: That is ONE smart policy the TZ forums have.

How do you feel about linking to Fake watches listed on eBay? TZ has a policy against linking to ANY auction or sales page, but many individual forums over look people pointing out fakes.

In many ways our policies are pretty basic compared to established forums. I too prefer to limit discussions of on-going auctions in the forum because it would be very easy for a shill or a person owning a similar watch to "talk up" the value of something effecting the price. Nor do I think anyone would like to see the forum de-evolve into a Sales Corner.

So I tend to agree, the question is where does one draw the line...
