I'm in my twenties and love my Speedmaster. I would *never* purchase a Rolex. To me, the image of a Rolex is a wealthy old man with hair popping out of his shirt and gold chains and bracelets galore to draw attention away from his balding. I'm more impressed by the fact that Omega consults pilots and astronauts and wants to have their watches on space missions and Mars as opposed to Rodeo Drive. Rolex is a fine watch, I'm sure, but I'd much rather have something flight tested for space duty than a flashy, diamond studded, gold piece of poseur jewelry.
