My Seamaster GMT was losing 4 minutes a day from the first day I bought it. It was sent to Lancaster PA and put on a "rush" status 6 weeks later I got it back and it has only lost 3 seconds in the last 36 hours which I am very pleased with, to make it a even better I think it's catching up with a little break in.
My wife and I were discussing Europeon after sale service Vs. US after sale. I had a problem with a Noblia 4 years after purchase, it leaked while diving @ about 50-60 ft I sent the watch to Noblia on monday and got it back the following monday witha new movement and I was impressed to say the least.
On the other hand I had a Mercedes that was blowing head gaskets every 6 months, and was told that "All Mercedes leak oil" and Mercedes did absolutly nothing to make the car right and I quit buying Mercedes.
Well I ranted enough, but I think you would get superior faster service using shops like Nesbit's or other alternate authorized repair centers not listed by Omega, the get that American touch.
