I just went to the Wristwatch.com website. Their position on serial numbers and warrantees is the clearest I have read yet. Readers of this forum probably have seen that I've been checking into the "what if my omega leaks/warrantee" issues for a while now. Ashford told me that "sometimes our distributors file off the serial number of omegas". It seems like if you buy a "grey market" watch, you must be content with the SELLER'S warrantee, as Omega really distances themselves from these guys in their own warrantee conditions (stated, in fact, on Wristwatch's website).
