2532.80 discontinued? ... (more)

2532.80 is just a classic BLUE/BLUE BOND SMP with a silver colored bezel swapped out for the Blue one, right?

I didn't think it was discontinued. I have seen it advertised a number of places on line.

This is a beautiful watch. And congratulations are in order. However....
It is hard for me to believe that the dealer that you bought from is the EXCLUSIVE dealer of this "discontinued" watch. I wouldn't fear that you will not be able to find this model again should you return it.

Now, whether or not you return it depends on a lot. I would probably keep it if serial numbers are in tact, it runs well and you got x>35% off MSRP. If you answer NO to any of these things then I would return it and keep looking.
What's more....
If you return it you should demand 100% recompensation (not only 90%) b/c of the specific concerns that you have. E.G.) It is unusual for a dealer to open a watch to check for authenticity. It is unusual that the watch came in a grey, rather than red, box. The number issue, however, doesn't seem to strange to me. Omega's serial numbers are QUITE difficult to read.

Best of luck to you. I know that all you really want to do is sit back and enjoy your watch. I hope that you will be doing this soon.
