Quartz

Good morning friends,

I had almost decided on another automatic SMP when
I saw a Rolex quartz. I have so many automatics that it would be nice to just pick up a good watch and it be ready to go. I have always associated quartz with cheap. Are there different quality quartz watches and would it be keenly accurate? I need some help before I plunk down a wad of money. I am tempted to go quartz but wonder if I am getting a cheaper, less valued, less valuable watch. Thanks in advance for your time and valued opinions.
