The trick to ordering these straps is to not mention which model watch you own. Rather, tell them the model number of the watch THAT THE STRAP YOU WANT COMES ON.

Omega Customer Service (at least in the USA) is very bad about being totally oriented to selling replacement parts -- not accessorizing your purchase. So if you tell them you have a 2531.80, you get the rubber strap that went with that model. So you have to tell them you have the 2991.80.93 to get the newer rubber strap.

I don't think it is the customer support people's fault. I think it is a limitation of how their ordering system allows them to look up parts.
