I did enjoy the contribution.

Please to hear that! =)

I don't recall seeing that Breitling, but I do remember you mentioning it.

Yes, Breitling is something of an Approach/Avoidance brand with me. I LOVE Whiz-Wheel Watches, but I find most Breitlings a little too much on the garish side for my tastes. So I only own one two [now]:

Which are two of the more muted examples of the breed.

Is it a limited numbered edition?

Nope. But I have been led to believe this particular model is one of the first [if not the absolute first] Breitling to utilize the Valjoux 7750 movement.

Case metal is?

Stainless Steel.

(The local Tourneau had one vaguely similar to this in white gold in the Preowned section -- priced in typical Tourneau fashion -- way north of 5 digits -- like north of the Artic Circle. I liked it, but not that much.)

Well, this one ran me $2,050 total [before I started switching out straps, etc.] including postage to me.

There is a new model of Breitling aften called the World GMT which I do like...

Which is priced anywhere from around $3,500 new in Stainless on a strap to about $5,000 stainless on a bracelet [both probably Gray-market dealers] [Gold would be more of course] but I haven't sought out an AD for a price. This model has a little more of the typical Breitling Flash [Anchor B] etc. but it's still tasteful and nice. I would strongly consider the purchase of one.

I assume the bezel whiz wheel is operational, but what about the engraving on the case rear side?

It's a simple Fairenheit to Centigrade conversion table. Actually a handly little thing to have I'd think!

In other words -- tell me more!!!

Here are a couple of excellent Breitling sites: http://www.breitlingsource.com/ and our friend JM's http://www.navitimer.net site. Both are bookmark worthy.

I love the Seamaster Titane -- screw-down pushers, guys!

Only time Omega's ever used/offered them in a product [as far as I've been able to determine.

Happy Holidays

Likewise Sam!

Cheers!
